Welcome
The WSU Center for Students in Recovery provides support and services for students who are in recovery from alcohol and/or drug addiction. Washington State University is one of only 9 universities in the nation to provide such a program.
One of the most difficult transitions in early recovery is the change from alcohol/drug using friends to non-using friends. This transition can be a lonely and high risk time for students. The Center for Student in Recovery (CSR) addresses this important issue by providing a safe community in which students can build sober, healthy relationships, while at the same time be involved in the mainstream of university life. Students receive on-going counseling and services addressing relapse prevention, stress management, money management, personal relationships, and academic support, just to name a few.
